Vanishing Points

The “Punts de Fuga” (Vanishing Points) programme was set up in 2015 with the aim of promoting work by artists from the collection beyond the walls of the Foundation’s exhibition spaces, which are located in Torroella de Montgrí, Palafrugell and Barcelona.

Through a series of collaboration agreements with renowned cultural institutions both nationally and internationally, the programme aims to broaden the horizons of the Foundation’s work and enable our artists’ talent to reach new audiences and places.

Most of the exhibitions featured in this programme are newly designed and tailor-made with the host institution in mind, taking into account their line of work and the main focus of their exhibition programme. In some cases, the temporary exhibitions were already previously produced by the Foundation and are exported as such to interested institutions.

Through this initiative, Fundació Vila Casas is fulfilling one of its key aims: the promotion and dissemination of contemporary Catalan art.
