Architect, painter, designer and writer, Oscar Tusquets Blanca is a multidisciplinary artist. Once he qualified as an architect, he set up his architect’s studio and has designed projects in France, the Netherlands and Japan. He trained at La Llotja and became interested in drawing and painting, inspired by urban themes in Barcelona, iconic buildings by Bernini and Gaudí, portraits of friends and rural landscapes of the places he visited. Many of his projects have won awards and some are exhibited at MoMA in New York and the Centre Pompidou in Paris.
