A pharmacist by training and family tradition, he gained recognition for his writing, visual poetry and objectual and ready-made creations. He created an independent oeuvre in these disciplines at the margins of the artistic and literary circles at the time. In the nineties, he opened the “Lo Pardal” complex in Agramunt, which houses the Fundació Privada Guillem Viladot today, dedicated to preserving his memory and legacy.
