Antoni Forcada is a technical architect and artist who focuses on ephemeral architecture. He embarked on his artistic career through painting, but was soon drawn to working with volume and material. He creates ephemeral works of art using found materials such as wood, cables and everyday objects. In the seventies and eighties, he took part in collective and solo exhibitions in various museums and public spaces, such as the Fundació Joan Miró in Barcelona. In the following decades he focused on research in his studio through painting and disassemblable mobile constructions that draw upon the landscape for inspiration. In 2025, he exhibited his artwork at a distillery museum, La Destil·leria-Ecomuseu de la Mar, in Calafell (Tarragona), with an exhibition entitled Desmuntable.
