The third prize-winner was the pianist from Taiwan, Pin-Hong Lin, who was awarded the Fundación Vila Casas prize of 6,000 euros.
The United States, Slovenia and Taiwan will compete for the title at the final event with orchestra to be held on 2 April at the Palau de la Música Catalana.
