Espais Volart, part of the Vila Casas Foundation, is hosting ‘A World in Struggle’, a retrospective of the paintings of Esther Boix (Llers, Alt Empordà, 1927 – Anglès, Gironès, 2014) spanning fifty years of creativity, from the dark influence of José Gutiérrez-Solana to her radical landscape painting through the anti-Franco and militant era. Until 12 July.
