The artist Agustí Puig (Sabadell, 1957) presents, together with Itiner’ART and in collaboration with the University of Barcelona and Badalona City Council, his project “La intuïció del gest” (The Intuition of Gesture), a large sculptural installation where narratives carrying his artistic imprint are established in a gestural explosion of form – expressionistic and penetrating – and material – paint, paper and ceramics.
The piece displays recurring themes and motifs from his work, such as existential angst, the passing of time, the ephemerality of being, and walking, which he understands as an analogy of the rootless existence of contemporary man.
