Through a selection of works from the Fundació Vila Casas permanent collection – paintings and a three-dimensional work – this exhibition aims to analyse the formal and plastic artistic diversity in the conception of the landscape: an artistic genre that, in the wake of present-day art, opens up to new and heterogeneous approaches.
Escriure el paisatge, dibuixar l’existència (Write the landscape, draw the existence), curated by Natàlia Chocarro, is the first instalment of a set of three – painting, photograph and sculpture – which coincides with the tenth anniversary of the Espai Art l’Abadia de Sant Joan de les Abadesses.
