By means of a dialogue between two artists from different generations, Joan Claret (Barcelona, 1929-2014) and Jaume Rocamora (Tortosa, 1946), Espai Volart 2 presents an exhibition that, almost as an essay, conjoins, despite their different languages, points of contact and interest such as the importance of an underlying structure in visual composition, synthesis, line, light and shade, and the use of colour, music and writing. Taking the tenets of Malevitch's Suprematism as their starting point - where painting is the sole result of all geometric elements and reflects not only the material essence of a world constructed by man, but also the desire to appropriate the mysteries of the universe - both creators share an idea central to their respective work; the orientation of a space to which entry is gained via geometry
