Since its foundation in 1998, the Fundació Vila Casas has set itself the aim of promoting contemporary artists and the dissemination of their work. On this basis, we are currently opening up the competition for the Contemporary Painting, Photography and Sculpture Prizes; an initiative that also enables us to develop our permanent collection. These annual prizes alternate per discipline and the museum where they are based.
This year we will hold the Fundació Vila Casas Sculpture Prize and the judges’ panel will be composed of Ana Mas, Àlex Susanna, Antoni Vila Casas, Antonio Sagnier, Bernat Puigdollers, Cèlia del Diego and Glòria Bosch. The exhibition will include all the shortlisted works, and the winning artwork will be announced at its inauguration on 5th June at the Can Mario Contemporary Sculpture Museum.
