Patrim is a selection of the best works of art made by final-year students at the Facultat de Belles Arts, which has been held annually for more than three decades and leads to the purchase of the works for the Col·lecció Belles Arts at the Universitat de Barcelona.
As a result of the collaboration between the Facultat de Belles Arts and Fundació Vila Casas, the foundation hosts this selection of artworks each year, which helps introduce the graduating students and artists to the professional exhibition circuit and the general public.
The Patrim 2021 event has been heavily affected by the pandemic during the course of the last year, which has in turn has influenced the artistic creative processes, such as the materialization of the projects in different languages and formats. This exhibition includes installations, video, photography, drawing and sculpture, among others.
The artists participate in this edition: Camil Cofan, Alba Escofet Presedo, Cristina García Sánchez, Nil Juan, Lydia León i Helena Ruiz Ràfols.
