With a group of small and large scale works involving techniques such as photography, pictorial manipulation and photomontage, Jordi Cerdà (Barcelona, 1937) and Claude Jeanmart (Soisy, 1949) present a project centred on the figure of Kafka and his close and life-long connection with the city of Prague. By using the “exquisite corpse” method a visual connection is established between the contributions of each artist, and the narrative of the exhibition is linked by these associations, resulting in a stimulating visual journey through Kafka's often terrifying literature and its recurring themes.
