Miradas paralelas. Iran-Espanya: Fotògrafes en el mirall is a show which presents the artistic and cultural affinities that exist between contemporary creators from different countries with the aim of finding spaces for exchange and permanent debate that help them develop, in the field of contemporary visual art, cultural ties between Spain and other countries, such as Iran.
This exhibition offers a site for encounter between Iranian and Spanish creators with six pairs of photographers who surprise us with what they have in common. Curated by Zara Fernández, director of MED-OCC, and Santiago Olmo, these twelve looks in the mirror lead us directly into the enigma of duplicity, mystery and the fascination for mirrors.
