The collector Josep Maria Civit (Montblanc, 1947) is best known for his work as a designer and communicator, which he began in the 1970s and which he carries out from his studio Taula de disseny. However, he has a more reserved facet which he began to develop more than forty years ago and which fills his private life: a collector of contemporary art. His aim is not to accumulate, linked to certain trends or genres, to a country or a continent. His aim is to establish a dialogue with contemporary art in order to understand the ways of thinking and feeling of his time.
