The collector Felip Massot (Belianes, 1951) is a self-made man in business, in life and in art. Born in the countryside, his restlessness led him to settle in Barcelona, where he prospered and became a prominent property developer. In 1983, the year in which he decided to buy a painting to decorate his own house, he developed a curiosity for art that has led him to build up a collection that is as eclectic as it is independent. Massot is a typical collector who acts according to his intuition and taste.
