Gregori Iglésias (Les Borges Blanques, 1966) and Sabela Eiritz (Lugo, 1991) are two artists from different disciplines who came together in this joint exhibition. It is an invitation to reflection, by means of travel and that which is permanently in transit and is shaped as the creative process progresses.
Curated by Glòria Bosch and Natàlia Chocarro, the exhibition combines the world of emotion and sensation with an attentive and documenting approach to one of the most catastrophic episodes of contemporary history; the tragedy brought about by Nazi Germany in the 1940s. The intention, however, is to side step historical time and talk about universal emotions through the paintings of Gregori Iglésias and the photographs of Sabela Eiritz, here used as an emotional conduit leading to inescapable solitude and, finally silence.
