Once again, the Fundació Vila Casas is holding its competition to award a prize, on a rotating basis, in the disciplines of painting, sculpture and photography. This year, the award is the Sculpture Antoni Vila Casas Prize 2024 and the judges, formed by Caterina Almirall, Pilar Bonet, Natàlia Chocarro, Bernat Puigdollers, Stella Rahola and Joan Torras and has selected 28 finalist works from among all 320 proposals that have been submitted in this edition.

Artiatzar, Lluc Baños, Leonard Beard, Béatrice Bizot, Pau Borràs, Irene Cases, Natalia Castañeda, Xavier Escribà, Agustina Fioretti, Jordi Gich, Toni Giró, Alejandro Granero, Anna Ill, Laura Juanós, Marc Larré, Marga de la Llana, Ariadna Mangrané, Oscar Moya, Ariadna Parreu, Jordi Plana Artista Visual, Lúcia Prancha, Xavier Ristol, Sofia Salazar, Tura Sanglas, Ines Schaikowski, Laura Sebastianes, Agata Serafin and Jordi Tolosa.
On April 27th, during the opening of the exhibition, the winners of this edition were announced. Marc Larré was the winner of the first prize, awarded with 15000 € and an exhibition next year at Can Framis Museum, with the work 2 braços, 3 genolls, 5 mans i 12 peus. The jury also awarded a second prize to Ariadna Parreu for the work Viró. Both works have become part of the art collection of the Fundació Vila Casas.
