Opening: Monday 7 of July, 6 p.m.
LOOK AGAIN is a celebration of presence, play, and a slower pace. In a world marked by distraction and acceleration, this exhibition asks: what do we discover when we do not simply pass by a place, but truly inhabit it?
For four weeks, eleven international artists returned to the area of the four streets surrounding the Can Framis Museum. Guided by sustained attention and subtle gestures of patience and curiosity, we observed, listened, and witnessed the choreography of a neighborhood in incessant motion. During our process, the street taught us that public spaces are more than mere backgrounds to our lives. They shape us, just as we shape them.
LOOK AGAIN reclaims the city as a space for imagination and quiet connection. It is also a reminder that often the most powerful stories are not the loudest—but the ones unfolding quietly right in front of us. It is an invitation to the viewer to look closer, to move slower, and to remember that even the most ordinary spaces can become sites of creation, transformation, and shared vision, when we reach out with our hands and open our heart.
LOOK AGAIN is a physical and online installation conceived and produced for Can Framis Museum by the students of the Elisava Master in Photography and Design 2024-2025, in collaboration with the Vila Casas Foundation.
