Ramon Manent (Mataró, 1948) specialised in the photography of art and architecture and captured with great sensitivity the shapes, textures and colours of his subjects. Fascinated by Gaudí’s Modernisme, Manent was known for his two-dimensional interpretation of the architect’s work, capturing on the picture plane all his sinuosity and organic qualities. Emblematic views and surprising or little-known details of Guadí’s architecture are seen through the photographer’s lens, offering the viewer stunning colour shots.
