Ramon Enrich (Igualada, 1968), who trained as an artist in the US where he worked with David Hockney and in Julian Schnabel’s studio, constructs compact and urban architectonic habitats with strokes inherited from Cubism and a vibrant range of colours. With their unfinished look his creations evoke spaces from antiquity and anticipate scenes from major historical events. His work shows the influence of Mies van der Rohe and Mondrain and elects for minimalism in its reproduction of the non-spaces that characterise our times.
