Museu Palau Solterra is located in the centre of the town of Torroella de Montgrí, in the Empordà region. It is a fifteenth-century palace that was once the ancestral home of the Counts of Torroella de Montgrí and currently holds Fundació Vila Casas’ photography collection. The museum has over two hundred contemporary photographs by artists from around the world.
The Fundació Vila Casas Educational Service organizes a series of pedagogical activities featuring the Foundation’s permanent collection of photography with the aim of helping students understand the photography and the image. We have created several workshop visits aimed at students from all levels: Infant, Primary, ESO and Batxillerat, using materials and experiential fun activities that will promote the participants’ learning.
Length of activity: approximately 1.5 hours
Location: Museu Palau Solterra, Torroella de Montgrí (Girona)
