Novelist Care Santos will give a very special workshop at the Fundació Vila Casas. Among the works in Ramon Calsina's exhibition Misèries humanes (Human Miseries), she will invite us to take a journey through our most intimate memories. Inspired by highly evocative works, we will immerse ourselves in our most intimate memories and let our imagination run wild to see how far words can take us. From historical narrative to autofiction, in this workshop we will turn personal and family memories into literature.
Editions and dates: Wednesdays 19 and 26 November and 3 and 10 December 2025.
Course hours: 12 (spread over four intensive sessions of three hours each).

Care Santos (Mataró, 1970) is a writer. She is the author of fifteen novels, the latest of which is L'amor que passa (Columna, 2025). In 2014, she received the Ramon Llull Prize for Catalan Literature for Desig de xocolata (Editorial Planeta) and in 2017 the Nadal Prize for Mitja vida (Columna Ediciones). She is also the author of an extensive body of work for young readers.
