On the occasion of the exhibition The eel. Flesh as painting and painting as a mirror at the Museu Can Framis, the artist Paula Bonet opens the doors of her workshop La Madriguera, located in the Eixample district of Barcelona, and offers us a guided tour of its interior.
La Madriguera Workshop, founded in 2018 by the artist herself, is a creative space dedicated to the visual arts, engraving and words. La Madriguera is nourished by Taller 99, another creative space founded more than seventy years ago by Nemesio Antúnez and Roser Bru in Santiago de Chile. This connection between the two workshops arose as a result of Paula Bonet's stay in Chile when she was only 20 years old during the months when she was studying her fourth year of her Fine Arts degree in the Chilean capital.
In order to attend the guided tour it is absolutely essential to register in advance through the registration and payment link of the Fundación Vila Casas. Places are limited and no more registrations will be accepted once the maximum authorised capacity of 15 people has been exceeded.
As the workshop La Madriguera is a private space and work place of the artist Paula Bonet, and in order to preserve her personal freedom and creative privacy, she reserves the right of admission inside.
