Anna Punsoda is the hostess of this symposium, where we reflect on questions such as:
What void do we want to fill with romantic union? Where does this nostalgia come from?
Are we looking for what we have or what we don't have? Are we looking for what we lack or what complements us? Are we looking for what allows us to actualize what we have?
Are there good and orderly desires that lead to harmony and health, and bad or disorderly desires that lead to imbalance and illness? How can we guide and harmonize desire to achieve health and order?
We recreate the symposiums of classical Greece. Over a glass of wine, we will reflect on desire, drawing inspiration from The Symposium, Plato's most famous work on love and desire. From this starting point, we offer a Socratic dialogue between the guests at the gathering, guided by a host artist. The event will be rounded off with a visit to the museum and a brief tasting of Cavas Llopart wines.
