Can Framis, Barcelona
Diego Enrique Osorno is a writer and documentary filmmaker best known for his work on violence, power, social movements and drug trafficking in Mexico. Osorno created the Interrotron room, a device that allows the interviewee and interviewer to look each other in the eye whilst facing the camera. Used for his encounters with poets, businesspeople, criminals, artists, boxers and ordinary people, this system facilitates an intimate, face-to-face conversation and shifts the encounter from the realm of information to that of experience. Osorno’s intimate encounters will revolve around a single question: must we accept the world, or must we change it?
