To accompany the exhibition on the writer Víctor Català (pen name of Caterina Albert, L’Escala, 1869-1966) being held in Palau Solterra and curated by Cristina Escat, the museum is hosting a conference on her most notable work, the novel Solitude. In the conference Irene Muñoz (Girona, 1979), philologist and expert on the writer, will evoke the hermitage of Santa Caterina near Torrella de Montgrí, which inspired the novel, with images and descriptions from the book.
