In Simbòlica, the artist and set designer Pep Duran Esteva sets out an ascensional path of purification, passing from burnt blackness to white light. He does this through a process with an *alchemical vocation where the objects, arranged in mounds, make up a large still life which, through the symbol, is linked to some of the allegorical references present in both the Miracle altarpiece and the mountain of Montserrat.
