Roundtable discussion with Lúa Coderch, Mafe Moscoso, and Eudald Espluga, and presentation of the exhibition catalog.
The exhibition They point to a spot by Lúa Coderch freely reinterprets a fragment of a Renaissance painting of Saint Lucy (patron saint of sight) and poses this question: in a world where it seems we’ve already seen it all, what happens to our ability to imagine? In this exhibition, Lúa Coderch does not seek to recover a lost gaze, but rather to explore what lies outside our field of vision and what we are capable of imagining.

Lúa Coderch (Iquitos, Peru, 1982) is a visual artist who lives and works in Barcelona. Trained as a sculptor, her practice combines videos, installations, performances, and objects to explore the relationship between reality, memory, imagination, and language. In 2025, she received the first ARCO Antoni Vila Casas Award.
Mafe Moscoso (Ecuador) is a writer, researcher, and professor. She works and conducts research at the intersections of fiction and ethnography. Her practice combines writing, art, and ethnography to explore memory, migration, colonialism, and ways of constructing knowledge. She holds a Ph.D. in Anthropology from Freie Universität Berlin and develops projects that straddle fiction, research, and experimental practices.
Eudald Espluga (Girona, 1990) is a philosopher, writer, and cultural journalist. His essays explore contemporary discomforts, social transformations, and the ways in which we imagine the present and the future. He is the author of books such as No siguis tu mateix, Rebels, and, most recently, Imaginar la fi.
