Opening soon at the Palau Solterra Museum is a new exhibition by the photopoet Ramon Dachs (Barcelona, 1959) entitled De l’Antàrtida a la Torre. Fotopoètiques del silenci, in which two previous projects by the poet conjoin; La Torre (Barcelona): 160 fotohaikus and Misteriosa Antártida: fotos de escritor. All the pieces seek to relate elements of literature, art and contemplation, while promoting a way of life fixed on the production of poetic silence. To accompany the exhibition, on 9 June at 6.30 pm, the artist, together with Laura Borrás, director of the Institució de les Lletres Catalanes, will present a screening of his film La torre (2015) and Encounters at the End of the World (2007), by Werner Herzog (Munich, 1942), initiating a dialogue with Dachs’s aesthetic investigation into the Antarctic.
