This year, and for the first time, the Fundació Vila Casas is collaborating with the Maria Canals international music competition, which this year reaches its 70th edition. The Foundation will award the third prize of the competition, a prize worth €6000, and is organising a day of music and art at the Can Framis Museum with free admission for all audiences.
The event will take place on Friday 4 April and will begin at 5 p.m. with a guided tour of the permanent collection by the Foundation's artistic director, Bernat Puigdollers, who will talk about a selection of works related to the subsequent concert by Víctor Oller. *The capacity is full.

At 6 p.m., we will have the concert Converses entre l'aigua i la terra by Víctor Oller, a recital of his own repertoire made up of works that revolve around the water-earth duality and that are linked to some works of art from the collection of the Fundació Vila Casas at the Can Framis Museum.
At 7.15 p.m., presentation of the third Maria Canals Prize awarded by the Fundació Vila Casas. Followed by a recital by the winner of the Fundació Vila Casas Prize.
Throughout the day, there will be a piano in the Plaça de Can Framis, accompanied by a mediator, available to anyone who wishes to experiment freely with the instrument.
