This year, the Fundació Vila Casas is taking part in the Llum BCN'18 (Light BCN’18) Festival, held on February 16, 17 and 18.
The Can Framis Museum is projecting Pleasant Places by the international artist Quayola on an exterior wall of the museum. The installation Al·literació will be on display in the Jardí Martí i Pol. It is a project by the Barcelona University Faculty of Fine Arts consisting of an accumulation of assorted material from the Can Framis garden; material that includes leaves, shoots and earth from the area which is then raised up to allow interior light through.
On Friday 16 and Saturday 17 February the Can Framis museum will extend its usual opening hours from 7 pm to 10 pm, both for the permanent exhibition Monologue, Dialogue and Concept, as well as the temporary exhibition Pere Portabella: Cinema, Art and Politics.
As part of the festival, there will be a guided tour of the temporary exhibition Pere Portabella: Cinema, Art and Politics on Saturday 17 February at 8.00 pm.
Tickets cost €2. The museum is closed on Sunday afternoons.
