On the occasion of the celebration of Abellós’ Year, part of his collection and his painting has been distributed to different points of the Catalan geography to dialogue with works from the collection of other museums. In each space, a complicity. A way to go inside of the life of Joan Abelló and know the network of relationships he wove with artists of his time.
Now, from Can Framis Museum, we invite you to discover some of the works from Joan Abelló's collection of modern Catalan art, the most important collection, without a doubt, of his entire Foundation. Some pieces are usually exhibited in the permanent rooms of the Abelló Museum; others, among the density of the walls of Casa del Pintor.
