Driven by chance and probability, this audiovisual automaton creates infinite images in constant change which are immediately transformed into electronic sound through algorithms set for the sonification of images. It enables us to hear, literally, exactly what we see, using pixels as a source for generating sound. The video art piece Espectres (Spectres) has its own audiovisual characteristics. From bucolic soundscapes to intense rhythms and abstract microtonal passages, this algorithmic reality fluctuates between unique and unexpected audiovisual states.
