Can Mario, Palafrugell
The Poesy of Space and 7 Doors + 1 are two shows by the multidisciplinary artist Pep Admetlla being held at the Can Mario Museum in Palafrugell until 21 May.
On Saturday 8 April at 12 noon the artist will head a guided visit of both the exhibitions, curated by Glòria Bosch, which bring together different disciplines in a dream of utopia and an examination of the total artwork.
The Poetics of Space is an anthology of work by Admetlla, spanning from 1988 to 2016, which displays a totalising artistic concept fusing literature, sculpture, philosophy and visual thought. While his project 7 Doors + 1 sets up a counterpoint between large-format drawings and three-dimensional pieces, and deals with the creation of spaces from different points of view.
This activity is free of charge and is part of the 2017 World Art Day events programmed in Girona.
