Can Mario, Palafrugell
La vida al taller is an exhibition of work by Mariona Esteba on at the Can Mario Museum in Palafrugell.
Esteba invokes the elements – air, earth, fire and water – to configure an oeuvre defined by a serene line and chromatic emotion. Her technique is processual and her approach is artistic, epidermal and sensory. La vida al taller is an interactive installation consisting of a representation of the artist’s studio set up in the museum. It is not presented as a finished work but as if it were an actual room, shown mid-way, postponed or rejected, suspended at various moments of her creative process.
With this visit Esteba invites us to stroll through her studio and discover, under her guidance, her approach to living and understanding the world, with special emphasis given to concepts such as language, liberty, love, illness and death.
This activity is free of charge and is part of the 2017 World Art Day events programmed in Girona.
