Visions and Decompositions is an exhibition of work by Alberto García-Álvarez (Barcelona, 1928) which traces his international career and reveals an uncommon thirst for experimentation allied with a constant geometry consistent with his early days as part of the Flamma group.
On Thursday May 18th at 6 pm García-Álvarez will lead a guided visit of the display of some 15 pieces consisting of large and small format paintings on paper, as well as his Crossings; sculptural works made from wood which, as their name indicates, form crosses and meeting points.
Places must be booked in advance. Telephone 93 481 79 80 or email press@fundaciovilacasas.com. The price of the activity is included in the general entrance fee (€1).
