The aim of the exhibition Viaje a la escencia de la pintura, curated by Marie-Claire Uberquoi, is to present a selection of works by Jorge R. Pombo that were made during different periods of his career, and which retain a common thread in their approaches despite drawing inspiration from various sources. His artistic production is the result of a long process of creation generated by his deep knowledge of the history of painting, and complemented by analysis of the power of colours and the part they play in pictorial composition.
On Sunday 11 November at 12 noon, the curator of the show, Marie-Claire Uberquoi, will lead the public on a guided tour of the highlights of the exhibition, which can be seen at the Can Framis Museum until 20 January 2019.
