Can Framis, Barcelona
Guided tour to the exhibition They point to a spot (outside the perimeter of the cross-section of a tree to show that they come from the future) by artist Lúa Coderch.
Lúa Coderch constructs a symbolic universe that explores the boundaries between memory, imagination and reality. The exhibition, entitled ‘Point to a spot (outside the perimeter of a tree section to indicate that it comes from the future)’, revolves around the imaginary surfaces and folds of reality, situated in an ambiguous space between fiction and lived experience. Through sculptures, performances and audiovisual works, the artist investigates how images and narratives emerge simultaneously with experience, organising it and imbuing it with meaning.
