Toni Álvarez de Arana, curator of Mar de fons (Groundswell), will lead a guided tour of the exhibition, the second instalment in a project which seeks to create a cartography of the artists who live and work in the Empordà and which began in early 2022 with the first exhibition Universal Localisms. The current exhibition features a second selection of around thirty artists from different generations and origins, and who work in different languages and techniques – from sculpture to painting, and photography, video, action and installation – and who focus on topics related to the region. The exhibition seeks to help the public appreciate the quality of contemporary work emerging from the Empordà, an artistic wealth that exists in many small villages spread throughout the region.

Date: Saturday 10^th June, 12.00 p.m.

Admission: standard €7.00, concessions €4.00.

The Fundació Vila Casas reserves the right to cancel the guided tour depending on the attendance (minimum 4 people).
