The program for this recital offers a journey through some of the brightest and most expressive works in the vocal repertoire, covering the introspection of late Romanticism, French lyricism, operatic brilliance, and the joy of Classicism. It includes composers such as Richard Strauss, from which they will perform two lieder; three songs from Obradors; Nuit d’Espagne from Jules Massenet and two arias from opera: one from the classic period, from Mozart, and one from the romantic, Donizetti. Together, These works establish a dialogue between cultures, styles and eras, united for expressive power of the voice and for the timeless ability of music to transcend borders.
