Luis Olmedo is the World Champion of close-up magic, and has won more than ten awards in his career. As part of the Fimag festival, Palau Solterra hosts Perspective, his show of close-up magic, in which he invites you to see magic from a different point of view.
In the hour-long show he invites the audience to delve into the world of magic from very close up. Cards and coins dance in this spectacle with the elegance and delicacy that characterize Luis Olmedo’s magic. “In this world, nothing is true nor a lie, everything depends on which way you look at it.” Luis Olmedo’s signature style in his magic is delicacy, elegance and a touch of poetry.
He has performed around the world, taking his magic to countries such as Japan, China, Korea, France, Italy, Germany, the USA and much of Latin America. He is a specialist in close-up magic, and as well as performing he also researches and lectures to magicians, during which he exhibits his own creations.
