The Can Mario Museum, in collaboration with the Palafrugell Institute for Economic Promotion (IPEP) and the Costa Brava Tourist Board, is taking part this November in the “Som Cultura” programme of cultural activities in the town allowing visitors to sample local art, literature and cuisine.
In conjunction with the Fundació Josep Pla, the Can Mario Museum is offering the Palafrugell, Literature and Sculpture Pack, which includes a morning and afternoon visit of two exhibitions, a gastronomic tasting menu and a cultural route.

Morning: Fundació Josep Pla. Josep Pla and the civilisation of cork
11 am | Guided visit of the photography exhibition "Josep Pla i la civilització surera" with Annie Unland, exhibition curator.
12.45 pm | Josep Pla route through the centre of the town of Palafrugell.
2 pm| Tasting menu featuring traditional Empordà cuisine at the Centro Fraternal after a reading of texts on gastronomy by Josep Pla. *See the menu attached*
Afternoon: Fundació Vila Casas. Sur les chemins du bambou, de Laurent Martin “Lo”
4.30 pm | Guided visit of the exhibition "Sur les chemins du bambou", in the company of the artist. Together with Laurent Martin, “Lo,” the visitor will pass through a curtain of suspended bamboo and venture into an artistic and emotional quest centring on nature, movement and energy.
