“Conversation on the Threshold.” Conversation between professor and critic of contemporary art Jesús Martínez Clarà and the artist Isidre Manils

Centring his imaginative output on celluloid, Isidre Manils projects visual narratives of apparently unrelated universes open to conceptual constructs delimited by viewers’ perceptions.  Pictorial poesy deployed at random on the canvas, imperceptibly traversing the private interiors of memory.  

The artist will discuss themes such as the intuition of the inhabited space and the shadow of presence with the professor and contemporary art critic Jesús Martínez Clarà and the curator of the exhibition and coordinator of the Itiner’ART programme Natàlia Chocarro. The exhibition, entitled Traspasseu-ho, can be visited at the Centro Cultural La Mercè until 27 May.
