Bodies of Light by the artist Mayte Vieta is on show from 27 April to 25 June 2017 at the El Casino Cultural Centre in Manresa. Featured as part of the Fundació Vila Casas programme Itiner’ART, the show comprises works from different periods and of different disciplines – photography, installation and sculpture – which deal with many of the themes recurring in the artist’s work.
To introduce the show to the public, on the same day as the inauguration Natàlia Chocarro, head of the Itiner’ART programme, and the artist Mayte Vieta will discuss some of the recurrent themes in the artist’s work such as memory, silence, the frailness of the human existence, and the passing of time.
