Galeries d’Art de Catalunya (GAC) presents the 13th edition of the Art and Galleries Conference, an event dedicated to exchange and dialogue between professionals in the gallery sector and the art world.
With the participation of Guillermo Cervera, head of collections at the Carmen Thyssen Foundation; Josep Fèlix Bentz, director of the Palau Martorell; Carme Clusellas, director of the Girona Art Museum; Bernat Puigdollers, director of the Vila Casas Foundation; Jesús Navarro Guitart, director of MORERA. Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art of Lleida; Artur Ramon Navarro, director of Artur Ramon Art; Ricard Planas, director of Bonart magazine.
This edition aims to open up a space for debate and reflection on Catalan painting collecting, its historical evolution and future, collectors' motivations, the relationship with galleries and museums, and the current challenges facing the market and the preservation of artistic heritage.
