Alosa (Giulietta Vidal and Irene Romo) emerged in a natural and healthy way, without pretensions or expectations. Two women performing music just as they understand it, without frills or fireworks.
What is most surprising about this group is their ability to create full and rounded songs with only two musicians, without any sense that something is missing. Giulietta’s hypnotic voice blends perfectly with Irene’s energetic cello, an instrument that is considered ‘classical’ but she transforms into modern and traditional.
