Can Mario, Palafrugell
An experience of mindful breathing inspired by Anna Irina Russell’s exhibition The first flower is born in the air.
This initiative invites visitors to explore the exhibition through the body and the breath, via a series of practices centred on mindful breathing, listening and presence. Breathing is the central focus of Anna Irina Russell’s artistic research, and it also serves as the starting point for this experience, enabling visitors to engage with Russell’s works from a sensory and bodily perspective.
As we move through the different galleries, breathing becomes a tool for exploring some of the themes running through the exhibition: vulnerability, interdependence, contact, transformation and the possibility of imagining new ways of living together.
