Andreu Martró. Donation ceremony

On Wednesday 22 June at 7 pm, the Fundació Vila Casas Espai Volart is hosting a ceremony for the donation to the collection of Palestina by the painter Andreu Martró (Sant Quintí de Mediona, 1941-Terrassa, 2013). With pictures centring on the human figure, his work features emotional landscapes expressing solitude and lack of communication.  Andreu Martró's work has featured in approximately 80 solo exhibitions around the world.  Today, his work can be found at institutions such as the Museu d’Art Modern de Catalunya and the Museu Francisco Gil de Salamanca.

Taking part in the event will be Elena Morató, author of the texts in the catalogue Andreu Martró, published by El Carme (1999).
