Cultural life in Barcelona in the first half of the twentieth century involved well-known figures such as Víctor M. d’Imbert (1903-1978) and other less well-known people, such as Xavier Vidal de Llobatera (1894-1963). They both promoted projects and artistic experience that would lay the foundations of our culture.
We would like to highlight and contextualize the personalities of these cultural promoters, based on research in their family archives.
Art historians Sílvia Muñoz d’Imbert and Muriel Gómez Pradas, and the cultural promoter Flora Bacquelaine Vidal de Llobatera, will take part in the round table discussion. It will be moderated by Glòria Bosch, co-curator of the exhibition L’amistat infinita.
Due to the current pandemic, the event cannot take place face-to-face but will be online and streamed live on the Fundació Vila Casas YouTube channel.
