Espais Volart, Barcelona
The 9th session of the Clínic Summer School at Espais Volart, a day dedicated to forging connections between artists’ perspectives and the care-giving dimension of healthcare.
The event invites reflection on time—the time present in artists’ work and creative processes—in relation to the time of healthcare, marked by urgency, uncertainty, immediacy or waiting. What do the different temporal dimensions have in common when we speak of art and healthcare?
With contributions from Mar Arza and Joaquim Chancho, artists; and Eva Palou, clinical psychologist. With Bernat Puigdollers, Art Director at the Fundació Vila Casas, and Joan Escarrabill, MD PhD, from the Patient Experience Observatory at Hospital Clínic, as moderators. And concluding remarks by Dr Montserrat Viladomiu, Vice-President of the Fundació Vila Casas, and Dr Josep M. Campistol, Director General of Hospital Clínic.
Date: Monday 6 July, 5.00–6.30 pm
